Good calls I guess why I saw a win95 style copy between the two outlines while the skunk’s outline fills was to really reinforce the fact that it’s copying rather than moving or some other action. But you’re right, there are options here. The track is CC BY-NC-ND, so you’re right, I do need permission.

I would show an old school Amiga/Apple copy dialog instead of win95.

Storyboard it and sort-out copyright issues around the tune. By the time you have done the former hopefully the latter will be done also and you can take it to the next stage from there.

I know the feeling wholly. At the moment I get so discouraged at work fixing other peoples computers and problems that I have no will to do anything anywhere near a computer when I get home. So much for my degree with a major in programming and a love of OSS…

Odd coincidence, I was thinking about the utility of masking password input recently. Touch typing them means I often have to blank the entire field and retype when I think I may have mistyped. Plus there is always the caps lock issue, ie, I can’t see the case of the password.

I like your suggested solution, particularly as it would be something implementable on the client side.

Patently untrue. It works perfectly with my japanese Softbank 911T, through SMS, on a Swedish network (so there’s no operator-side translation going on).
