Screensavers for Mac OSX

I recently discovered Quartz Composer, which is part of Xcode, the development tools included with Mac OSX. You can build your own screen savers with it. Anyway, here’s the screensavers I’ve made:

Screensavers for Mac OSX

  • ESV Daily Bible Verse (26kb)
    This feed fetches the daily verse from the ESV Bible RSS Feeds and puts it up on screen quite funky like. The verse moves around on screen in 3D, always pointing towards the viewer, while the background rotates through a spectrum of colour.

Installation Instructions

All screensavers on this page require Mac OSX 10.4 (Tiger) or above.
To install, simply save into the ~/Library/Screen Savers folder in your user folder.

NO SUPPORT WHATSOEVER GIVEN FOR THESE SCREENSAVERS. NO WARRANTY IMPLIED. NO RESPONSIBILITY TAKEN BY ME FOR ANYTHING THEY DO TO YOU OR YOUR COMPUTER. USE AT YOUR OWN RISK. *cough*, erm, excuse me, had a lawyer stuck in my throat.

All my screensavers are released under a Creative Commons Attribution 2.5 licence. If you host them, or make a derivative, please link to this page as credit/attribution.
